What is the plot of Locked Down?
The film follows London-based couple Linda (Hathaway) and Paxton (Ejiofor) who are a couple that breakup just as it is announced that they must isolate together for two weeks. Paxton ends up furloughed from his job due to the pandemic while Linda is forced to be the person that has to let go of many of her company's employees.
As the pair navigate their turbulent circumstances, they struggle with both their living situation and the people in power. Ticked off and looking to get back at the system, they hatch an elaborate plan to steal a diamond worth £3 million.
"Live wild or die, Linda" remarks Paxton at one point.
What ensues is a series of relatable quarantine drama as well as a thrilling heist that might see their lives changed forever.
As Locked Down's director is responsible for movies such as the Bourne series and Mr. & Mrs. Smith and its writer created Peaky Blinders, we're sure it's one hell of a ride.
Who stars in Locked Down?
With many of the film's actors simply tuning in via Zoom, it's no wonder that Locked Down has scored such an A-list cast.
Starring alongside Hathaway and Ejiofor are Ben Kingsley (Ghandi), Stephen Merchant (Jojo Rabbit), Mindy Kailing (Ocean's 8), Lucy Boynton (Bohemian Rhapsody), Dulé Hill (The West Wing), Jazmyn Simon (Ballers) and Ben Stiller (Meet The Parents).

The trailer certainly echoes a very 2020 sentiment when Ejiofor's characters asks, "Who would've thought a month ago we would be doing this?"
To which we say, amen.
