The Married At First Sight reunion dinner party is finally upon us after months of anticipation. The bombshell episode sees all the season’s participants return to see how they’ve coped post-experiment (spoiler: not good) and to air out some dirty laundry from the past.

We’ve rounded up some moments that you need to know from the episode. Brace yourselves.
Seb and Elizabeth are moving in together. While we expected the pair to still be together considering how they left the experiment, we’re surprised to learn Seb is moving to Sydney from Adelaide to be with Lizzie. Note: fellow contestant Tash later admits to being “obsessed” with the couple’s “double water sign” love story, and if that doesn’t signify true love, we don’t know what does.
Steve wants an apology from Mishel. Unfortunately for Steve, Mishel finally came to her senses and realised that he was merely stringing her along during the experiment. Following the final vows where Mishel walked off into the sunset solo, Steve wants her to explain her decision.
Aleks and Ivan walk in together. Much to everyone’s dismay, one of the experiment’s most controversial couples walk in together. “Are you guys together?” is the main question unsurprisingly, and they announce “We’re just seeing how things are going.” But still, the facts seem hazy.
Hayley comes in the only way she knows how: loudly. The outspoken bride is looking forward to spilling the beans tonight, but not looking forward to seeing ex-husband David. “I’ve got really good intentions tonight,” she tells David though. This remains to be seen. She also gets an apology from Lizzie for the girls night.
Mikey apologises for betraying Tash. While we wait for the bombshell to drop on Stacey, Mikey takes ex-wife Natasha to the side to apologise for everything that happened between them. She agrees to be on his side and anxiously waits to tell people what she knows. Mikey even gives Natasha permission to “drop the bomb” on the group.
Michael and Stacey walk in confident. Stacey tells Michael that their fellow co-stars will be gunning for them. “Game on,” he tells her before walking confidently in.
The ‘Stacey and Mikey Cheating’ Allegations
This deserves its own section, really. While the episode began by preparing us for a bombshell to drop, when the moment came we weren’t quite ready for it. Natasha, visibly tense, gets up to make a toast: “It’s great to have everyone back together,” she starts. “New faces I don’t know. Old faces I’ve seen around 100,000 times.”
Then, the bomb! “I’d like to toast to Stacey and Michael for having the fakest relationship in Australian reality TV history. And I’d like to toast to Stacey for f*cking my husband on our one month anniversary. Cheers to you babe.”
“Stacey and Mikey had sex,” Tash clarifies to the group, who are as confused as we are.
“Natasha I would respond, but you actually talk so much nonsense,” Stacey responds. “Why don’t you calm down.”
“It never happened,” she adds, while Mikey shakes his head. “Stop throwing allegations at me.”
Mikey ignores the group’s questions, before finally standing up to address everyone.
“To be honest I didn’t expect it to hit off so suddenly,” he tells the group. “Basically what happened is me and Natasha decided that we weren’t going to be together. At the. same time Stacey and Michael were going through a cheating allegation. Michael had moved hotels and one thing let to another, me and Stacey had a few drinks in Ivan and Aleks’ room and we slept together.”
“I never slept with you Mikey,” Stacey yells. “Why is it being brought up now?”
The group continue to argue over he said/she said. Mikey then admits to there being messages between the two, to which Stacey flatly denies.
It’s time to get the phone evidence. “This is ridiculous that it’s come down to this,” Mikey says before handing the phone to Chris to read.
“Hey sorry for leaving this morning, thought it would be better to not be there this morning. Sorry for the mess, would have cleaned up didn’t want to be seen going to the bin from your room,” the message allegedly says.
Stacey continues to deny, “You never came in my room on your own Mikey.”
Aleks then claims that clothes of Mikey’s were later picked up from their room.
Michael remains silent. “Cat got your tongue,” Stacey asks him.
“I’ll forgive Stacey if it did happen,” he tells the camera. “But I won’t forgive her if she lies about it.”
Now, we wait until the final commitment ceremony on Sunday night.
