After an emotional outburst from both Mick and Tamara, the experts must decide if they will allow Dan and Jess to remain in the experiment.
"There aren't rules about this because we've never had this before," says Trisha. I can see the group's point of view, but we can't let the group make the rules for the experiment...[Our role is to observe], and it's an experiment, and this has happened within the experiment." She adds Jess and Dan's relationship seems authentic.
"I think if they have made this request, and they seem genuine about it, about the relationship, and we're to say, 'No, you're not allowed to do that', then that's us intervening, isn't it?" asks Mel.
"The three of us have decided that we're going to allow Jess and Dan to continue on in the experiment as a couple...We are not here to judge, or take sides or to intervene in the course of the experiment. If we were to do that, then it would cease being an experiment and it would then become a process at the whim of the experts."
Twitter has a lot to say about the decision, claiming the three experts have "condoned" cheating.
