After complaining of tonsillitis on Tuesday, Miley Cyrus was taken to hospital where she spent the night. The 26-year-old posted multiple Instagram stories showing her in a hosptial gown with her mum by her side and flowers from friends. But the most interesting photo of all was one showing her lying in bed with a full face of makeup on, writing, “BF coming to visit me @ the hospy,” confirming her relationship status with 22-year-old Australian singer, Cody Simpson.
And visit her he did. Cody showed up with a guitar and roses for his sick girlfriend, before serenading her with a song he wrote about her. “Arrived with roses and a guitar in his hand,” she captioned a black and white photo with the sobbing emoji, writing, “#ImNotCrying #YoureCrying.”
Miley then shared videos of Cody singing beside her bed, writing, “suddenly I am feeling much better,” noting that she’s trying to convince him to release the song.
On Cody’s story, Miley can be heard saying, “My favourite song ever.”
Miley ended her relationship with Kaitlynn Carter two and a half weeks ago and announced her separation from Liam Hemsworth in August. The singer took to Instagram to defend herself against those who said she was moving on too quickly, writing, “I am trying to just THRIVE/survive in a ‘man’s’ world. If we can’t beat ’em, join ’em! If our president can ‘grab ’em by the pussy….’ can’t I just have a kiss and açaí bowl?!?!”
