As an ambassador for the brand new Neutrogena Visibly Clear Light Therapy Acne Mask, Cox has been diligently applying it every single day, and says both she and her make-up artist have noticed the difference.
“I’ve had less breakouts than normal and the redness has gone from my skin,” Cox tells me. “I get redness around my forehead and I have a real problem with touching my skin when it breaks out, which leads to more breakouts, so this mask is good because it’s preventative.”
The first at-home product of its kind, the Neutrogena mask combines blue and red LED wavelengths to target both acne and the associated inflammation. “I’m pretty lazy when it comes to my skincare routine so it’s nice that I can just pop on this mask and not have to go to a derm,” Cox explains. “I just put it on for 10 minutes and go about my life.”
The one skincare rule Cox is careful never to break, however, is remembering to wash her face. “I take my make-up off every single night,” she says.
“I also always make sure I’m drinking plenty of water and eating right; I think that’s really important for good skin,” the model adds.
“I have a daily green juice in the morning and a shot of apple cider vinegar, then a coffee – that’s what gets me out of bed. I try to stick to a salad for lunch, then dinner is my cheat part of the day. And dessert always!”
Our kind of girl.
