According to the global fashion search platform, the likes of Off-White, Bottega Veneta and Balenciaga are busy bringing home the bacon this season with the world’s best-dressed names popping the brands into their shopping basket.

For the second year running, Off-White remains top of the list further cementing creative designer Virgil Abloh’s status as one of the industry’s most influential artists.

It’s been a difficult year for the designer to navigate too after taking time out of the spotlight to focus on his health with a growing number of projects on his radar from Hailey Bieber’s Instagram-breaking wedding gown to his first spin-off homeware brand.

Yet despite his absence at the Off-White spring/summer 2020 show, the proof is in the figures with shoppers across the globe in a committed love affair with the A-list favourite. Further proving Abloh’s influence, Farfetch recently purchased New Guards Group which operates Off-White for $675 million (USD).

Next up: Balenciaga. The Parisian fashion house took second place with Gucci following closely behind (having dropped two spots since last season).

Its comeback success is largely down to the label’s cult Double G belt which has appeared a grand eight times in the most popular women’s accessories list over the past two years – certainly not something to be sniffed at.

It’s been a big breakthrough quarter for a handful of brands too with Alexander McQueen and Loewe frog-hopping their way up five and seven positions respectively with the Duchess of Cambridge‘s go-to label making its debut on the designer billing.

In a similar fashion, Jacquemus has jumped 37 spots in the ranking this quarter with its cult Le Chiquito bag (and let’s not forget that La Bomba straw hat) never failing to bring a smile to our faces for its delightful impracticability.

There are shoppers out there still buying into the miniature bag trend too with 12,500 monthly searches for the Le Chiquito last season alone. Seriously, how do they ever take their lunch to work?

But there’s one brand which continues to take pride of place on everyone’s Instagram mood board, Bottega Veneta.

You couldn’t scroll through a street style gallery this fashion month without spotting a pair of those quilted sandals peeping from the front row while attendees kept their show invitations dry stuffed inside the brand’s buttery clutch.

In non-headline-worthy news, the Italian mega label has entered the charts for the very first time – nonchalantly skipping an impressive 21 places.

Under the creative lead of Daniel Lee, the brand has been thrust into magazine spreads across the globe once more with search for Bottega Veneta shoes rising by 156%.

To put that into perspective, 27,000 people a month have been frantically shopping the brand’s $1,220 cushioned sandals which were born to play a starring role in the beloved #EvaChenPose.

So before you hit the shops armed with your credit card, grab a pen and take note of the brands that fashion devotees have been throwing heart eye emojis at this season.
