Dua Lipa has finally confirmed the news we knew to be true deep in our hearts: she’s engaged to actor Callum Turner.
The Levitating singer was one of many celebs ushering in a new era of quiet engagements (Zendaya and Tom, Dakota and Chris) when she casually dropped a pic of her ring in a Christmas photo dump with no context and explanation.
Now, some six months later, Dua had confirmed the news to British Vogue.
“Yeah, we’re engaged,” she told the publication.
“It’s very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever—it’s a really special feeling.”
The couple had been dating for under a year, since January 2024, before Callum popped the question. But, when you know you know.
The confirmation is joyous news for fans who have been lamenting over Dua’s constant flashing of her custom-designed ring on social media for months.
The pop star also spoke about potential wedding plans, or lack thereof during her interview.
“I want to finish my tour, Callum’s shooting, so we’re just enjoying this period,” she explained.
“I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I’m like: ‘Oh, what would I wear?’”

Rightfully, she’s enamored with it, telling Vogue: ““I’m obsessed with it.”
She revealed Turned had the ring custom-designed in consultation with her Rina.
“It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”
