Jake Gyllenhaal has had his fair share of very public romances (Kirsten Dunst, Reese Witherspoon and Taylor Swift, to name a few), so it makes sense he’d want to keep his current love life as far out of the spotlight as possible.
In fact, he’s been so low key on the romance front that you’d be forgiven for assuming he was single.
But according to new reports, the 39-year-old actor is “getting serious” with Jeanne Cadieu, a 24-year-old French model he has been dating since late 2018.
While the photogenic pair has yet to make an official public outing together, Page Six is reporting that Cadieu has already met Gyllenhaal’s family, been on a handful of holidays with the actor, and was spotted supporting him at his latest Broadway play, Sea Wall/A Life.
Cadieu, who is based in New York and is a model with IMG, was first linked to Gyllenhaal in December 2018 and has reportedly attended several high-profile events with the actor like Cartier’s Clash de Cartier event in April 2019, although they walked the red carpet separately.
The couple is so under-the-radar that they don’t even follow each other on Instagram, and there are no traces of one another on their social media pages.
Gyllenhaal hasn’t always been so secretive about his relationships, however, with the actor having a long list of high-profile romances. Given that he’s now looking close to settling down, let’s take a look back at his list of former loves (at least, the ones that we know to be true).
Kirsten Dunst: 2002 – 2004

Natalie Portman: 2006

Reese Witherspoon: 2007 – 2009

Taylor Swift: 2010 – 2011

Alyssa Miller: 2013 – 2014
