‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ star Jen Affleck, 27, won’t be a wife much longer. The reality TV personality has filed for divorce from her husband Zac Affleck, after seven years of marriage, reports TMZ. The couple had announced their fourth pregnancy on June 18, with a photo of Jen holding her bump and the caption: “Chapter Four”.

TMZ says the divorce documents it’s seen were filed on Tuesday, November 3 and that they included a proposed parenting plan. The paperwork didn’t state the reason for the split or the custody arrangements Jen was looking for.

The couple met on the Mormon dating app Mutual in 2018 and married in 2019. They share kids Nora, Luca and Penelope. In July, Jen shared in an Instagram caption that she was experiencing prenatal depression – the worst instance in all her previous pregnancies.

“There were so many days during my first trimester where my mind went to some really dark places,” she wrote. “It scared me. And if you’ve ever experienced depression, you know how isolating it can feel. Add moving to a new state, being pregnant and trying to show up for your kids, and some days felt impossible.”

In August this year, she posted a video of her wedding day with Zac, writing alongside it: “She didn’t know everything was ahead of her. But she loved, she grew, she became. And I’m grateful for every version of her.”

Jen is set to star in the Hulu spin-off series ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange Country’, which will premiere on Disney+ on November 12, 2026. Last season, which aired in 2024, the couple fought about Zac’s gambling and Jen’s decision to potentially go to a Chippendales show in Las Vegas.

“It’s scary to have your relationship exposed to the world,” she told Vulture on the day the first season premiered. “We went into the season in a rocky place, but I wanted to move forward with filming, because that’s what felt right to me, my career, and wanting to provide for my family. Looking back, it’s probably the best thing to happen to us, because a lot of the things they showed were things I didn’t want to acknowledge.”

She added that since filming the first season, the couple had been in therapy nonstop, and that they knew that they had to make changes if they wanted to continue their relationship. Zac, she said, was trying his best to make those changes.

While the couple took a break in their relationship in the second season, they were back together in seasons 3 and 4.

In August, she told People: “It’s been a lot the past couple of months, I’ll be honest. But I do feel like I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and just trying to count my blessings every single day.”
