It Sure Sounds Like Matt Agnew Blindsided Chelsie McLeod With Their Split

Ugh

Over the weekend, this year’s Bachelor couple Matt Agnew and Chelsie McLeod took to Instagram to share that they have decided to end their relationship six months after filming of the series finished.

While neither party gave a definitive reason for the split, other than Matt writing that their “relationship hasn’t translated from filming to the real, everyday world as we had hoped,” the style of their separate posts alluded to Matt being the one who ended things – he shared a straight statement to Instagram, while Chelsie shared a bunch of loved up photos from their time together. Now, a former contestant from the season, Rachael Arahill, has taken it on herself to throw shade at Matt, hinting that the astrophysist didn’t give Chelsie a reason for breaking up with her.

On Chelsie’s post, a fan commented, “omg no, I wanna know why” to which Rachael quickly replied, “so does Chelsie.”

Rachael also replied to another fan who wrote that there’s nothing wrong with a “mutual break up in the early stages of a relationship,” saying, “you don’t know what was invested into this relationship.” Who knows what that comment means, but we’re going to guess that Chelsie gave a lot, only for it to be ended rather abruptly.

So far, neither Matt or Chelsie has elaborated further on the split, but the show’s runner-up Abbie Chatfield has also addressed it, saying she would love to be left out of a relationship and break up that has nothing to do with her. Touche.
