The Recording Academy’s eligibility window ran from August 31, 2024, to August 30, 2025, and The Life Of A Showgirl was released on October 3, 2025, after the cutoff. Swift also didn’t release any singles or additional music during the qualifying period, meaning she had no eligible submissions for the 2026 Grammy Awards.
With no nominations in contention, Taylor Swift is not expected to attend the ceremony this year.
Still, Taylor Swift’s Grammys story is far from over. With 14 Grammy Awards already to her name, the singer remains one of the most decorated artists in Recording Academy history. Given the timing of The Life Of A Showgirl, she’s widely expected to be firmly back in the mix — and among next year’s Grammy nominees.
