A 54-year-old woman is accused of cutting off her husband’s penis while he was asleep, the Korea Times reports.
According to Yeosu Police Station, the woman allegedly cut off the tip of the man’s penis at an apartment in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province, on Saturday night.
The woman, known as ‘Mrs Kim’, allegedly used a kitchen knife and flushed the body part down the toilet.
As The Sun reports, a neighbour heard the 50-year-old groaning in his apartment and found him writhing in pain on the floor.
He was rushed to hospital and is in a non-critical condition.
The man’s wife claimed her husband had been violent against her, denied her money to live off, and spent a lot of time playing golf.
Police are still investigating the matter.
