A court has heard the horrifying details of how a girl was allegedly gang raped at a house party in the Blue Mountains, NSW, in 2012, when she was 15. The jury was told the males laughed in the girlโs face when she pleaded them to stop.
At a trial at Sydneyโs Downing Centre District Court, Aaron Jensen, now 23, Christian Dickens, now 22, and two 21-year-old men, have pleaded not guilty to multiple offences, including aggravated sexual assault in company, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.
In court, Crown Prosecutor Belinda Baker said the party was one of the first the girl had attended. On the night, the teenager had drunk about a litre of wine.
She was โwell affected by drinking so much alcoholโฆ she thinks that someone might have put something else in that drink,โ Ms Baker said.
โHer next memory is waking up in a dark room with one of the accused on top of her.โ
Ms Baker continued: โShe will tell you that she pleaded with them to stopโฆ her voice was slurred and weakโฆ she wanted to yell out but she couldnโt.
โEach time she pleaded the accused laughed saying words like โshut up, you love it slutโ.โ
Nine News reports that Meredith Phelps, the barrister for one of the unnamed boys, said her client did have sex with the girl, but said they would be raising questions about consent.
Barrister Gary Corr said โthere are some doubts about both the honesty and the reliabilityโ of the girl.
