The infamous Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins and his partner of two years , Alexandra George, are expecting their first child.
Cummins, famous for being the only bachelor in Australian history to pick no one back in his 2018 season, announced the happy news on Instagram with a photo of the pair embracing: “My darling and I look forward lovingly to the arrival of our little badger cub,” he wrote.
George also shared her own announcement with the same picture, writing: “We decided to create a little hybrid!! Can’t wait to share this next chapter with the love of my life 😍 welcoming our little badger cub into this world shortly.”
The Instagram update was immediately flooded with friends and fans sharing their congratulations, including AFLW legend Sabrina Frederick who wrote: “Congratulations brother! So happy for both of you and the family.”
Another Bachelor alum, Ryan Anderson added: “Yewwwww!! Congrats legends @al_george Stoked for you both.”
Who is Alexandra George?
According to WHO, Alexandra is a “Sydney socialite” who met Cummins during a trip to the Kimberley region in Western Australia in 2020. At the time, Nick featured in a picture Alex posted from the trip in April.
In June 2020, several publications claimed the pair were romantically linked, with the Daily Telegraph reporting at the time that Cummins also spent lockdown with Alexandra in Seal Rocks, on the mid-north coast of New South Wales.
A year after they reportedly met, the pair went public with their relationship in March 2021 when Cummins shared a sweet photo of himself and Alexandra on a boat watching the sunset, writing: “This sunset @kingfisherbayresort is a must see.”
Cummins, an accomplished NRL player, was front and centre of the public eye in October 2018 when he famously turned down both Brittany Hockley and Sophie Tieman in the Bachelor finale.
Tieman has since married, while Hockley dated Australian tennis player Jordan Thompson in 2021 before they called it quits in February.
Meanwhile, the Honey Badger has kept himself busy by creating the Rogue Gentleman’s Club—a project that aims to help men find “passion and purpose” through outdoor activities while retreating into the outback.
“The outdoors and nature has consistently proven a source of clarity and motivation for me,” he previously told Vacations & Travel. “It’s been a grounding tool through my biggest challenges and has also been where I’ve experienced some of my favourite memories.”
