Nicole Kidman And Reese Witherspoon Have Another Project In The Works

Great news for 'Big Little Lies' fans!

Following on from the huge success of Big Little Lies – and considering there’s now a gaping big hope in our Monday nights – Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon have some *very* exciting news.

Despite rumours that they might do a season 2 of Big Little Lies, director, Jean-Marc Vallee has shut those right down.

“To do a season two, I’m not for it. Let’s move on and do something else,” he told the Hollywood Reporter.

“If there’s an opportunity to reunite with Reese, Nicole and these characters of course, I’ll be a part of it, but Big Little Lies One is a one-time deal. Big Little Lies Two? Nah.

Stay with us here, we promise there is good news.

“The end is for the audience to talk about. Imagine what you want to imagine and that’s it. We won’t give you a season two because it’s so good like this. Why spoil it?”

Well funny you mention an “opportunity to reunite with Reese and Nicole, Jean-Marc, because that’s just what is on the cards.

Back in August last year, Variety reported that the powerhouse duo had also picked up the rights to Moriarty’s 2016 best seller, ‘Truly, Madly Guilty’.

So far it looks like Reese and Nicole will co-produce the new project, but no word yet on whether they’ll star.

Here’s hoping!
