With Valance has been known for her fashion-forward street style, her wedding dress infused traditional elements with a sensual silhouette for a timeless-looking gown. The all-white ensemble was created by local Melbourne couturier, J'Aton.
For the occasion Valance opted for a long sleeve gown with delicate and ornate appliqué stitched onto the nearly-naked dress, creating an almost corset-like appearance.
The high-neck number was completed with a long veil adorned with pearl-esque detailing.
It seems that for Melbourne’s exclusive ‘WAG’ scene, J’Aton is the designer of choice when it comes to custom creations. Worn by the likes of activewear founder Bec Judd and television presenter Erin Holland on their wedding days, we’re sure we’ll see a slew of intricately embroidered dresses this upcoming wedding season.
Vallance held a bouquet of white orchids as she was walked down the aisle by her father, Ryko Valance, and step-father Australian music legend Ross Wilson. Her bridesmaids also wore white for the occasion, with their dresses accented by red floral motifs.
There is no word if Olympia’s half-sister, former pop-star Holly Valance, was also in attendance.
Following the wedding, the newly-weds will be honeymooning in Greece. Speaking to The Herald Sun ahead of the ceremony, Valance shared her excitement for the wedding and “all the planning stuff to be over”.
“I am excited, I’m actually just excited for all the planning stuff to be over and to just really enjoy the day because it’s been a lot of planning in a short amount of time,” she said.
