This Is What Kate Middleton Got Prince William For His Birthday

A constant reminder

Prince William celebrated his 37th birthday over the weekend, and despite the royal celebrating privately his gift from wife Kate Middleton was leaked. The Sun is reporting the Duchess of Cambridge and the three royal children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – gifted the Duke of Cambridge a scrapbook full of family photos and homemade pictures created over the last year.

“Kate and the children have been compiling a large album of the children’s paintings, drawings and collages and prints,” a source told the outlet. “They reflect what they have been doing over the past year. You can look at any event they were involved with as a family, and there will probably be a picture, drawing, print or photo.”

According to The Sun, the theme of the book was “Den They Were Three”.

“It’s taken a great deal of time and effort to make, and as a present, it means something,” The Sun‘s source said. “You could say it’s a reminder to William about what is really important. It’s been put together with a great deal of care.”

The scrapbook was put together by Kate over the past year “as the pictures came along from the children,” the source said. “She’s been very much guiding it. It is not something that she’s put together retrospectively. It was compiled gradually.”

News of the gift comes just weeks after reports surfaced about how Rose Hanbury affair rumours have changed the couple’s relationship. “It forced her and William to sit back and examine their relationship, which they realized they should have been doing more often,” a friend told Us Weekly.
