For those who need refreshing, a few days before the official ceremony, Princess Diana found a box containing a bracelet, inside the office of Charles' private secretary, Michael Colborne. After insisting on seeing the bracelet, Diana discovered that it was engraved with the initials G and F. According to The Mirror, those letters referred to the names "Fred" and "Gladys", the nicknames Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles used for one another.
A few days later on the official day of the wedding, as Diana was preparing to walk down the aisle at St. Paul's Cathedral in London, she spots Parker Bowles as a guest at her wedding.
"Diana told me much later in one of our private conversations that she had felt like a lamb to the slaughter as she walked up the aisle, which was very sad," Bond explained.
"I think she knew that things weren't quite right, and when she saw Camilla in the congregation, was immediately uneasy about it."
