They’re in the midst of the promo tour for new movie Ocean’s 8, and if this latest interview is anything to go by, co-stars Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter are either close friends – or worst enemies.
Appearing on The Graham Norton Show with co-stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett and Sarah Paulson, Bonham Carter admitted she’s the only key cast member who hasn’t been to the Met Gala in real life.
While Bullock, Blanchett and Paulson looked surprised, Rihanna didn’t miss a beat: “That’s because you wear dresses like that,” she said to her co-star, gesturing at her typically OTT, wildly patterned dress.
While Bonham Carter laughed it off on camera, it’s hard to tell whether she was stung by the jibe or not. “I’m going to cry now,” she said in response.
