Over the past three years, South Korea has become my annual pilgrimage. While the food, cafés and culture are reason enough to book a flight, I’d be lying if I said my suitcase (and backup suitcase) wasn’t also reserved for beauty products.
Needless to say, stepping into an Olive Young store is my version of heaven. I’ll inevitably leave with an armful of sheet masks, a few new serums I definitely didn’t need and whatever moisturiser or viral essence everyone in Seoul seems to be buying that week.
marie claire‘s Top Korean Skincare On Amazon
The reason is quite simple: K-beauty innovation is truly unmatched. The formulations are thoughtfully designed to layer without feeling heavy, and brands are often years ahead of the trends the rest of the world eventually catches onto. So whether you’re chasing brighter skin, a stronger barrier or that coveted glass skin glow, there’s almost always a Korean skincare product that delivers.
Thankfully, you no longer need a passport to build a K-beauty routine. Many of my favourite Korean skincare brands are now available on Amazon Australia, making it easier than ever to replenish the products I’d usually save room for in my suitcase.
Even better? With Amazon Prime Day now running, many of these cult favourites are discounted. If you’re not already a Prime member, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial to unlock the deals, along with fast delivery that makes waiting for your skincare haul almost as exciting as buying it.
Below, I’ve rounded up the Korean skincare products I genuinely recommend—and the ones I’d happily repurchase whether I’m browsing the aisles of Olive Young or scrolling Amazon.

ANUA
I genuinely think ANUA is one of the best-kept secrets in K-beauty—although I doubt it’ll stay that way for much longer. Fresh off announcing Kendall Jenner as its first global ambassador, the brand is quickly cementing itself as one of the industry’s biggest names.
Best known for its Heartleaf range (the Cleansing Oil is one of my all-time favourite first cleansers) and innovative PDRN-powered formulas, ANUA creates skincare that’s equal parts gentle and results-driven. If you’re looking to build a Korean skincare routine from scratch, this is one of the first brands I’d recommend.
LANEIGE
No roundup of the best Korean skincare would be complete without LANEIGE. While the brand may be best known for its iconic Lip Sleeping Mask, there’s so much more to discover beyond lip care. Backed by decades of research, LANEIGE has built a reputation for creating science-led formulas that deliver consistently impressive results.
The Cream Skin and Water Bank ranges are permanent fixtures in my bathroom, particularly during the cooler months when my skin craves extra moisture. Whether your goal is lasting hydration, a stronger skin barrier or simply healthier-looking skin, LANEIGE is one of those brands that’s almost impossible to go wrong with.
MEDIHEAL
If you’ve spent any time on TikTok lately, chances are you’ve come across MEDIHEAL. The Korean skincare brand has gone viral for its toner pads, which are available in a range of formulas targeting everything from hydration to blemishes and dullness.
After cleansing, sweep one over your skin in place of a toner, or leave a few on your cheeks and forehead for a quick five-minute masking treatment. While the toner pads deserve the hype, don’t overlook the sheet masks either. The Madecassoside mask is one I return to time and time again. Infused with madecassoside—a soothing derivative from Centella Asiatica, renowned for calming and repairing the skin—it’s my go-to whenever my skin is feeling stressed or sensitive.
Beauty Of Joseon
Few brands have shaped the global K-beauty boom quite like Beauty of Joseon. Inspired by traditional Korean herbal medicine (known as hanbang), the brand combines time-honoured ingredients like ginseng, rice, red bean and green plum with modern skincare science to create formulas that genuinely deliver.
If you’re new to the brand, start with the Glow Replenishing Rice Milk. Beloved by beauty editors, dermatologists and seemingly everyone on TikTok, this lightweight, milky toner deeply hydrates, helps balance oil production and leaves skin with the kind of luminous glow K-beauty is famous for.
SKIN1004
If I had to choose just one Korean skincare brand to recommend, it would be SKIN1004. As someone who’s borderline obsessed with Centella Asiatica, it’s little surprise that I love a brand built around the ingredient. Every formula features Madagascar Centella, renowned for its soothing, hydrating and skin barrier-supporting properties.
While the entire range is worth exploring, the Probio-Cica collection is where the brand really shines. The Probio-Cica Enrich Cream is one of my favourite winter moisturisers, delivering rich, comforting hydration without feeling greasy. Another product I consistently repurchase is the Madagascar Centella Ampoule. It’s beautifully simple but incredibly effective, instantly calming irritation, boosting hydration and helping to keep my skin barrier healthy.
Biodance
If you haven’t heard of Biodance by now, I’d genuinely be impressed. The brand’s Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask has become one of the biggest K-beauty success stories, taking over TikTok, Instagram and just about every beauty editor’s recommendations list. Instead of the usual 20-minute masking session, it’s designed to be worn overnight, so you wake up with skin that feels deeply hydrated, plump and incredibly radiant.
But don’t stop at the masks. Biodance’s toner pads and serums are equally impressive, offering targeted formulas for everything from boosting hydration to improving firmness and supporting the skin barrier.
COSRX
If the phrase “snail mucin” has made its way into your skincare vocabulary, there’s a good chance you have COSRX to thank. The Korean skincare brand helped catapult the ingredient into the mainstream, proving that snail secretion filtrate isn’t just a viral gimmick—it’s one of the best ingredients for deeply hydrating, repairing and supporting the skin barrier.
While the Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence is one of the brand’s undisputed heroes, the cleansers and acne pimple patches are just as worthy of a place in your routine. And if snail mucin isn’t quite your thing, COSRX has plenty of equally impressive formulas that skip the ingredient altogether.
