Sophie Turner Slams Article That Called Priyanka And Nick's Relationship 'Fake'
Sophie Turner jumped to her future sister-in-law's defense on Twitter yesterday after an article published on The Cut suggested that Chopra had tricked the ex-Jonas brother into marriage.
The article has since received wide-spread backlash, but no one was more critical of the now taken down piece then Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner.
In a fiery Tweet Turner wrote, "This is wildly inappropriate and totally disgusting. Very disappointed that The Cut would give anyone a platform to spew such bullshit."
Joe Jonas, Sophie's fiance, also jumped to his brother and sister-in-law's defense labeling the article 'disgusting' and writing that Priyanka and Nick's love is 'beautiful'.
Other people on Twitter labelled the article "utterly nasty" and unnecessarily harsh.
The Cut has taken down the article and since issued an apology in a statement on Twitter which reads, "An earlier story about Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas did not meet our standards. We've removed it and apologize."
