If you're a fan of MTV's Teen Mom you're in luck - the series is officially coming Down Under and has announced the three young mothers at the centre of the new series. The series will world premiere Sunday, July 7 at 6.00 pm on MTV on Foxtel, Foxtel Now and Fetch.
MTV announced Melbourne’s Ammersen Chambers, Western Sydney’s Akosita Masima and the Sutherland Shire’s Georgina Manios will have their stories documented in the ten-episode Australian version of the ground-breaking series premiering later this year. The show will explore the lives of Ammersen, Akosita and Georgina as they try to find the right balance between childcare, relationships and teenage life.
Over the course of the series, the young mothers will share their stories as they manage a life filled with nappies, tears and tantrums combined with the everyday drama and complexities of simply being a teenager.
The original Teen Mom series was watched by over 7.4 million Australians when it first premiered in 2010. Teen Mom 2 and Teen Mom OG were MTV Australia’s two top-rated programmes in 2018.

Georgina is a make-up loving single mum who juggles between working as a qualified beautician and changing nappies. She has had an on-and-off relationship with daughter Evie's father John for the last five years. They both tell different sides to the story and it always ends in an argument but Georgie is "willing to give it one last chance for them to be a family".
Akosita, or Sita, is a rugby-loving, vivacious teen mum. She lives in a full house with her partner Thomson and her self-described "big fat Tongan Family" of ten including four sisters and three brothers, her parents, her grandfather, her baby Andrew and the children of her siblings. Sita plans to get back on the Rugby field as soon as possible, as well as take her singing career to the next level as everything came to a screeching halt once she found out she was having a baby.
Ammersen is the youngest of the teen mums to feature on the series. Having Jiyah turned Ammi and her childhood sweetheart Jordan’s life upside down but in the best possible way and now with baby number two on the way their little family is ready for their next adventure. Living with Ammi’s older sister Katya presents some challenges, as despite their closeness, there are constant disagreements about household chores, parenting and family dynamics.
Teen Mom Australia will premiere this winter exclusively on MTV on Foxtel, Foxtel Now and Fetch.
