The choice to go super short wasn’t a rash decision however, as Haddish begins the video by saying, “I’ve been talking about it for years, everyone be trying to block it, I ain’t talking about it anymore.”
Not to be without a crowd, Haddish’s friends are heard in the background yelling, “wait Tiff! Wait, wait, wait,” before relenting after the first locs fall with, “alright, Sinead O’Connor”.
After finishing with the scissors, Haddish brushed through her new hair, delighted about how ‘good it feels’ and the result so far.
“I like it! I look so pretty. I look beautiful. I am beautiful,” she said.
In the second video, Haddish reassures her followers that “there’s nothing wrong with my brain”, and questions why it is that when a woman decides to cut her hair off, people assume they have mental problems – reaffirming that the style is something she’s wanted to do for years.
In the third video, we see the final, beautiful result, as Haddish’s friend, Precious, completes the buzz cut with clippers.
Haddish is overjoyed about her new ‘do, and we have to agree, she looks absolutely beautiful.
