A new chapter in the anthology crime drama True Detective is officially here, meaning a new cast and a new mystery to keep us on the edge of our seats.
Airing in 2014, season one of True Detective saw mismatched detective duo, Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, as they looked to uncover a case that puzzled them for more than a decade.
Then, for season two, we had a larger cast including Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, and Vince Vaughn, before season three brought us Mahershala Ali’s chapter, which aired four years ago in 2019.

What is the plot of True Detective season four?
As we know, each season of True Detective introduces different detective characters investigating different cases, and season four is no different.
As per the synopsis, when the long winter night falls in Ennis, Alaska, the eight men who operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanish without a trace.
To solve the case, Detectives Liz Danvers (Jodie Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Kali Reis) will have to confront the darkness they carry in themselves and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice.
