Tuesday’s Married At First Sight was one of those episodes where the best part was Wednesday night’s preview, when Seb and Lizzie open up about having sex; Josh and Cathy call it quits; and Michael and Josh accuse a very conservative Aleks of lying about being intimidate with Ivan.

But back to a lackluster Tuesday, where the contestants struggled with home stays, especially Ivan and Aleks, who were previously one of the strongest couples.
Aleks, 26, from Perth, was staying with Ukrainian-born Ivan, 30, in Sydney, where he boasted about “leading an affluent life” … driving around in a Ferrari VW Golf and selling “$5 million properties”.
Aleks, who has refused point blank to discuss their sex life, started to have second thoughts after Ivan pulled a few cringe-worthy moves like telling her he was taking her on a “surprise”.
She got all dolled up for the occasion, and Ivan blindfolded her, only to lead her mere metres away to his balcony for a cheese, meat and cracker plate and a glass of vino.
“Never blindfold me again please,” she said.
He also took Aleks to work with him … even though they both work as real estate agents.
On the last day of the home stay, Aleks sat Ivan down for a chat and told him she missed her family and friends in Perth and that she thought there was something “lacking” in their relationship.
“Is it just Sydney or if we had developed a stronger romance would it be a different story?” he asked.
“Obviously I feel very pressured being asked about intimacy after the last commitment ceremony and after that night I really assessed if we could be romantic in the future,” she said.
“I love your qualities, I adore everything about you … but I feel there are aspects of our relationship that we do lack and miss.”
Ivan is floored: “Look, I’ll be honest, I wasn’t expecting that.”
But he’s not going down without a fight and he hopes he can change her mind.
