A British teenage girl has lived through any woman’s worst nightmare, not once, but twice.
The 15-year-old was raped by two different men on the same day, after flagging down the second for help following the first attack.
The teen was with a friend on Tuesday evening at Witton railway station, in Birmingham when a man approached her and led her away, The Guardian reports.
When she managed to get away from the attacker, she flagged down a car for help and was then raped again by the driver of that vehicle.
A major investigation is now underway with police appealing for witnesses to find both men.
“This was a horrifying ordeal for this young girl and we have specially trained officers supporting her,” BTP Detective chief inspector Tony Fitzpatrick said, as reported by The Daily Mail.
“It is now vitally important we investigate exactly what happened on Tuesday morning as well as identifying offenders for both of these awful incidents,” he continued.
“My detectives are currently examining all available CCTV in an effort to identify the offenders and whilst these enquiries are made, we are keen to speak with any potential witnesses.”
