Thus, the latest real life story getting the small screen treatment is that of WeWork founders, Adam and Rebekah Neumann whose business’ incredible rise and catastrophic fall was documented in the podcast, WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork.
Now, the popular podcast has been adapted into a television series featuring oscar winners Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto—just to make it really binge-able. Set for release in late March, we’ve now got our first look at the drama series, and trust us, it’s one to mark your calendars for.

What is the true story behind WeCrashed?
WeCrashed is an eight-part television series documenting the rise and fall of WeWork under its founder and CEO Adam Neumann and his wife, Rebekah.
The iconic co-working spaces across the world triggered a revolution for small businesses and remote working, eventually becoming worth over US $47 billion (that’s $65 billion AUD, FYI).
But Neumann didn’t want to stop at co-working spaces—he wanted to start a new way of life. Things like co-living apartments, new communal areas, banks and schools where young students were taught “entrepreneurial superpowers” were on his hit list, but his prophet-like ideals weren’t popular with everyone. In 2019, he was ousted as the CEO as pressure from the company’s investors mounted.
Two years later, the company finally went public on the New York Stock Exchange, though firmly without Neumann’s influence or any of the major ideas he had.
Where is Adam Neumann now?
Neumann never returned to his post at WeWork—he is now working on a new business venture with stakes in more than 4,000 Miami apartments worth more than $1 billion, per the Washington Street Journal.
Multiple reports claim Adam still lives with his wife Rebekah in one of their Hamptons homes.
Who is in the cast of WeCrashed?
House of Gucci‘s Jared Leto and The Devil Wears Prada‘s Anne Hathaway both star as husband and wife duo, Adam and Rebekah Neumann in the series.
Joining them is America Ferrera as Elishia Kennedy, O-T Fagbenle as Cameron Lautner, Kyle Marvin as Miguel McKelvey and breakout star, Cricket Brown as Chloe Morgan.
