‘Will & Grace’ Revival Gets A Second Season – And We Couldn’t Be More Excited

Just Jack! And Will and Grace and Karen too...

We’re raising our martini glass in excitement—in true Karen Walker fashion—to the revival of beloved sitcom ‘Will & Grace’.

The show will air on Stan in Australia from September 29, The Sydney Morning Herald reports.

The ‘Will & Grace’ revival will straight up ignore the later seasons which saw both Will and Grace raise children to their respective partners. Instead, the duo will still be living in their New York City apartment. And both will be childless and single, EW reports.

In other exciting news, the show has already been renewed for a second season!

Will and Grace

We got our first real glimpse of the new season in an epic five-and-half minute clip released in May.

The video reunites Will, Grace, Karen and Jack in a joyful mini-musical as they sing: “Everything’s as if we never said goodbye”.

The trailer features all members of the original cast—Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes—plus plenty of references to social media trends and other hit shows.

“We’ll have must-see primetime madness, ‘This Is Us’ should be our lead-in,” the cast sing.

As the song-and-dance number ends and confetti rains from the rafters, McCormack quips: “Well, that was gay.”

The new series reunites the shows’ original writers and creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, with director James Burrows, The Sydney Morning Herald

The original sitcom, which started in 1998, won a whopping 16 Emmies out of 83 nominations.

Let’s hope the new season is just as good!
