Girls star Zosia Mamet tied the knot with longtime love Evan Jonigkeit back in October, and we’ve just got our first look at the stunning ceremony at Cedars Lakes Estate in New York.
The actress bucked tradition and opted for a black dress for her big day, donning a long-sleeved, plunging Givenchy gown.
"I’ve never really dreamt of my wedding day, I’ve only dreamt of finding a person who I’d want to have a wedding day with—so I was starting from scratch," Zosia tells Vogue of choosing a dress.
"The dress I ultimately chose was by Givenchy, and it was the last one I tried on—the minute it went over my head, both my friends gasped. It definitely wasn’t the most epic in terms of the dress’s power on its own, but it fit me like a glove in every way, and I knew, without a doubt, that it was my dress. That was it, I bought it off the rack."
The actress styled the dress with a long, layered diamond necklace and earrings and kept the look relaxed with boho-inspired hair in half-up style with dark flowers interwoven, or as she put it “woodland fairy nymph”.
The couple said their vows in front of just 100 of their nearest and dearest, danced the night away to Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon” and drank moonshine and ate s'mores by an open fire well into the wee hours.
"It was perfect," added Zosia.
