Earlier this week, it was revealed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had opted for a gender-neutral decor for their unborn baby’s nursery (after all, Meghan recently admitted she and Harry had decided to keep the sex a secret), and now some new revelations about the couple’s Frogmore Cottage home has been unveiled.
On top of the couple’s grey and white tonal colour-scheme, it has been revealed by The Sun that the 37-year-old pregnant royal is opting for eco-friendly features. The mother-to-be has reportedly chosen a vegan paint for Baby Sussex’s nursery (and presumably the rest of the home).

Speaking to The Sun a royal insider commented: “Meghan has been looking long and hard at paints for the Sussex nursery. Rather than opt for fashionable Farrow and Ball paint in favoured shades such as Wevet, Peignoir and Pavilion Grey and Salmon, the Sussexes are much in favour of The Organic & Natural Paint Co’s Auro range for the nursery.’
“Natural, eco-friendly, safe and non-toxic paints for your home” – is how the Auro range is described on their website, “No more chemicals leaching into the air your family breathe for a cleaner & safer home.”
On top of the decor decisions, Meghan and Harry have reportedly installed a $60,000 green energy unit.

It’s not just Meghan who makes a conscious effort to be eco-friendly though. Speaking in BBC’s documentary Prince, Son and Heir: Charles At 70, Harry revealed the one habit that he adopted from his father – turning off all the lights in his home. “My wife certainly goes, ‘Well, why turn the lights off? It’s dark,'” Harry said. “I go, ‘We only need one light, we don’t need, like, six,’ and all of a sudden, it becomes a habit.”
