Personal trainer to the stars and Biggest Loser alum, Michelle Bridges, has allegedly been caught drink driving over the weekend after she was pulled over by police in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

On Sunday morning, NSW Police Traffic and Highway Patrol Command officers directed Bridges to pull over on new South Head Road in Bellevue Hill for a mandatory ‘random breath testing’. After the test returned a positive result, police arrested the trainer and took her to Waverley Police Station, where she returned a reading of .086.
Bridges has since issued a statement to The Daily Telegraph, calling the incident a “terrible mistake” and an “error in judgement”.
“I would like to express my deep regret for breaking the law, this was a terrible mistake and an error of judgement,” she said in a statement according to the publication.
“This behaviour is inexcusable, and I am absolutely devastated and embarrassed to find myself in this position.”
Bridges’ also confirmed in the statement that she has since split from her long-term partner, Steve ‘Commando’ Willis, revealing that the “emotional turmoil” of her break-up has affected her decision making.
“It has been a very difficult time for me the last few weeks dealing with the break-up of my long-term relationship,” Bridges continued.
“This is by no means an excuse for my behaviour but I feel the emotional turmoil I have been going through has impacted my decision making. I am extremely sorry for my actions.”
NSW Police confirmed the star’s arrest earlier today, the statement also disclosing that a five-year-old child was also in the car. It has not yet been confirmed whether the child was Bridges’ son Axel, who she shares with Steve Willis.
Bridges was given a future court attendance notice for mid-range PCA and is due to appear at Waverley Local Court on February 18.
