Reports started circulating last week that former Bachelor winner Alex Nation had split with her fiancée Maegan Luxa, and now more details have come to light.
According to Woman’s Day, the pair have been through a “tumultuous few months” and the former reality star has been “living the high life at nightclubs and fashion shows” while Luxa, whom she met playing AFL, preferred staying in.
News.com reports that the pair were spotted looking tense while out at a café last week, and despite actively posting on Instagram, Nation hasn’t uploaded a photo of Luxa since late last year.
The couple went public with their relationship in August before reportedly moving in together and getting engaged late last year.
“When it comes to love, my friends and family would tell you that my heart isn’t one to discriminate,” Nation said of her relationship in a post on Instagram in November.
“I very much fall for a person and the connection that I share with them. My heart is a wild thing, it craves extraordinary adventure. It’s impulsive, sometimes a little dysfunctional but it’s big and loud and I follow it to the nth degree. What a wonderful adventure it is with her.”
Alex previously dated The Bachelor’s Richie Strahan after appearing on the 2016 season of the popular show. The couple broke up in early 2017, however the exact dates are unclear as neither Alex or Richie publicly commented on the split at the time.
