Acquaint yourself with these local gems

It’s no surprise that Australia has produced many incredible organic skincare brands. Over recent years, people have become more conscious of what’s going into their skincare and beauty products (and therefore onto their face). Increasing consumer demands for safe, natural beauty products has spurred the industry to take natural brands seriously.

Not only are the products on this list made sustainably and without harmful ingredients, they can match any leading non-organic brand for quality and efficacy. Natural and clean beauty products combine essential nutrients, botanicals and organic ingredients that work to restore and rejuvenate our skin, without impacting the planet.

Read on to learn about these homegrown beauty brands who are making waves both here and overseas.

GO-TO SKINCARE

About the brand: Created by ex-beauty editor and author, Zoe Foster Blake, this brand was born out the confusion and frustration felt by Foster Blake towards skincare products on the market. Previously only available to buy online, Go-To is now stocked in Mecca stores across Australia.

Why it’s special: Foster Blake brings her years of beauty expertise to the brand, meaning products are well thought-out, but also make sense to consumers without that beauty background.

Ethical stance: The brand is certified cruelty-free and all-natural.
