Despite having their own long-running Bachelor franchise with everything from Bachelor in Paradise to Bachelor Winter Games, it appears the USA can’t get enough of The Bachelor Australia, specifically a trailer for the new season featuring Matt Agnew.
In the short clip of Abbie and Matt’s first meeting, the 23-year-old Property Analyst asks Matt what he does. When he responds, “I’m an astrophysicist”, she confuses his job for an astrologer and replies, “OK, I’m a Gemini.”
A visibly baffled Matt pauses before brilliantly responding, “I’m a Leo”.
While this certainly isn’t the craziest thing to happen on The Bachelor Australia – remember the entire season with the Honey Badger?! – the video struck a chord with Americans and quickly went viral. Twitter user @giaonfilm shared the clip writing, “I’m watching promos for the Australian Bachelor and…no words.” The post got 350,000 likes and 100,000 retweets, including by celebrities such as Sarah Hyland and Paris Jackson.

Hyland, who happens to date a former US Bachelor contestant, wrote, “WHERE CAN I WATCH THIS WHOLE SEASON?! 
” while Jackson commented in a since-deleted tweet, “the Australian bachelor is life”.
