RT: Rebecca and I came together to create LightLab…

As we were both passionate about natural, sustainable beauty. We knew there was a market for anti-ageing skincare treatments that women could do at home, without the hefty price of in-salon treatments.

RD: We saw how LED light therapy for skincare was growing rapidly…

But no-one was offering a full-body treatment device to use in the comfort of the home. Until the GloDome, you could only treat the body in the salon. Skincare for us is not just about the face. It’s about top to toe: your neck, décolletage, backs of legs and booty.

RD: I use all our products at least four times a week…

But my go-to when I’m short on time is our Derma Roller. It’s a micro-needling system that’s really changed the feel of my skin and complements my LED treatments.

RT: I love our GloMask, I wear it while I’m working at my desk…

RT: The best thing about being an entrepreneur is… 

Getting to work on something I’m passionate about every day. [It’s also] creating a brand women resonate with, and the excitement of developing new products and learning along the way.

RD: We’ve been so lucky to work on this journey together…

The trust you need in a business partner is so important. We don’t agree on everything, but we trust and listen to each other. That foundation is key.

RT: My best tip to starting a business is just start…

If you wait for the right time you can miss the boat. If you’re authentic in your point of view and what you offer, customers will resonate with that.
