Though all hopes of a romantic reconciliation, a la Bieber and Gomez, have been dashed, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield reunited last night, reinforcing why they’re our favourite celebrity exes.
The former couple, who met on the set of Spiderman and dated for almost four years, both attended the Governors Awards and reportedly “spent time talking during almost every opportunity.”
E! News reports that during the dinner break, Stone walked to Garfield’s table and the two “chatted and laughed for almost the dinner entire hour.” See photo proof here.
The pair has always spoken fondly of each other, the latest when Garfield said he was Stone’s “biggest fan as an artist” in January.
Speaking to Vanity Fair the actor said: “I’m constantly inspired by her work. I’m constantly inspired by how she handles and holds herself. So for me, I’ve – it’s been bliss to be able to watch her success and watch her bloom into the actress that she is. And it’s also been wonderful to have that kind of support for each other. It’s nothing but a beautiful thing.”
Though there were rumours of a rekindled romance back in August, Stone is now reportedly dating Saturday Night Live producer, Dave McCary.
