Fashion has a way of keeping pace with the seasons. It’s not just the calendar that changes, but the steady rhythm of runway debuts, collection drops and cultural moments that shape the trend cycle and seep into the collective consciousness.

This month, there’s a little more happening than usual.

Two global tentpoles set the mood: the opening of Fashion Month and the spectacle of the 2026 Winter Olympics.

As temperatures drop across the Northern Hemisphere and alpine peaks take centre stage, style follows suit, with the slopes proving as influential as the front row.

Closer to home, the mood is celebratory. Lunar New Year unfolds through intimate soirées and brand-led moments, while Chappell Roan touches dowor Laneway Festival, her unmistakable aesthetic arriving alongside her.

Globally, attention returns to the runway as London Fashion Week opens the Autumn/Winter 2026 season from Thursday 19 to Monday 23 February, setting the tone for the months ahead.

Ahead, we’ve rounded up all the fashion, beauty and lifestyle news you need to be across this February.

Birkenstock 1774 returns with Chapter Two of Ensemble 1774, continuing its collaboration with Paris based designer Thibo Denis in a study of heritage, utility and contemporary form. Revisiting the debut silhouettes Goerlitz, Uerzell and Stroedt, the new chapter refines their sculptural lines through supple suede finishes and grounded, wearable colour ways.

Anchored in the idea of “climbing the city,” the collection frames urban movement as both function and freedom, where architecture meets ease. Each style is underpinned by the Deep Blue Footbed and bone pattern outsole, a quiet nod to Birkenstock’s orthopaedic lineage.

The unisex collection launches February 19, 2026 and is available exclusively online at birkenstock.com.au.
