You might be thinking that a swimwear story has no place in the depths of winter, but bear with us. Over the past few weeks in Miami, Florida, all of the best new season designs have been debuted on the runway of Miami Swim Week and just like all of the other fashion trends we’re spotting via the Northern Hemisphere’s summer – including the unlikely colour both Kate Middleton and Kylie Jenner approve of, the return of polka dots and the short trend we’ll all soon be wearing – it’s important to keep an eye on the upcoming bikini and one-piece trends. No one wants to be sporting a ‘floss bikini’ any longer than they have to, after all.
