Overnight, Oscar de la Renta took over a New York City rooftop, filling it with breathtaking gowns, an acapella soundtrack and famous faces.
Guests included Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kate Beckinsale, Amber Heard and Sofia Richie, who watched the spring/summer 2019 collection’s debut from the best seats in the house.
With designers Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia at the helm (the duo took over after the death of the brand’s founder in 2014), Oscar de la Renta is slowly transforming – something never more evident than at this show, where sarongs and mini skirts accompanied the brand’s signature extravagant evening gowns.
