If your most stylish friend has suddenly gone quiet, chances are they’re deep in a Vinted scroll. The cult-favourite second-hand marketplace officially landed in Australia on July 1, and for fashion people and second-hand sellers, it’s been one of the year’s most exciting launches.
If you’ve ever searched for a coveted vintage jacket or sold-out bag, only to discover it was listed on Vinted somewhere overseas, you’ll understand the excitement. That frustration is finally over. Australians can now shop and sell on one of the world’s biggest resale platforms without watching the best finds slip through their fingers.

The experience has been designed to remove the usual resale headaches. Thanks to Vinted’s partnership with Australia Post, shipping is built directly into the app. Once an item sells, sellers receive a prepaid shipping label that can then be dropped off at their nearest Australia Post location. Buyers are covered by Vinted’s Buyer Protection, which offers support if an item is lost, damaged in transit or significantly different from its description.
