Where once we would see everyone stomping around our cities and towns in the same ankle boots or knee-highs, 2021 sees a real mix of boot trends hitting runways, and subsequently stores.

Low-key fans will love lug sole boots, which can toughen up or dress down everything from denim to silk dresses. Sock boots are still very much trending, although ankle height is where it’s at. Retro fans can rejoice because cowboy boots are more fashionable than ever, and if you’ve got some 90s fashion still hiding in your wadrobe, dig it out – square-toe boots are the perfect match.
