Move Over Vagina Candle, Goop Has Launched Its Very First Vibrator

Of course, Gwyneth Paltrow announced the news on Valentine's Day

From controversial jade eggs to 24-karat gold sex toys and a candle that claims to “Smell Like My Vagina“, Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle brand Goop is no stranger to putting sexual wellness front and centre.

This time, the brand is entering the world of vibrators, launching their first-ever wand vibrator—and of course, the news was announced on Valentine’s Day.

Taking to Instagram to announce the news, Paltrow shared a throwback image of herself at Vanity Fair’s 1999 Oscars after-party in her iconic pink Ralph Lauren gown.

“Beat you to it…” she wrote. “I know how to meme too, guys. Head to @goop to see what all the buzz is about.”

While the original photo shows Paltrow grasping her Oscar statuette, which she won for her role in Shakespeare in Love, the actress swapped it out for Goop’s newly-released vibrator.

The double-sided wand vibrator is up for grabs on Goop’s website for AUD $123. The device features a pink “wonder-ball wand with deep, rumbly vibrations for external stimulation” on one side, while the “slim, flexible” opposite end “provides powerful and precise vibration for clitoral or internal stimulation,” the product’s official description states.

Plus, it’s a “thing of beauty on a nightstand”, the description adds.

Sexual wellness is nothing new for the Goop community, fuelled by the brand’s newsletters, workshops at its In Goop Health summits, podcast conversations and The Goop Lab series which aired on Netflix, which explored all areas of sex.

Unfortunately, the product doesn’t yet ship to Australia—so we’ll have to wait before getting our hands on this one.

But while we’ll have to wait for the vibrator, Goop Beauty recently launched at MECCA, making its signature products finally available to Down Under.

The brand, founded by Paltrow in 2008, features clinically proven ingredients at active levels to create skincare, body products and supplements that deliver results. All products are also made without parabens, petroleum, silicones and artificial dyes and fragrances, and aren’t tested on animals.

Among the products that landed in-store are the GOOPGLOW Microderm Instant Glow Exfoliator, the GTOX Himalayan Salt Scalp Scrub and the GOOPGENES All-In-One Nourishing Eye Cream.
