Jessica Alba is the Hollywood star turned beauty mogul that has managed to maintain a 15 year relationship with her husband Cash Warren.

Alba began her acting career in her early teens, and the child star turned it into a career, rising to prominence aged just 19 in series Dark Angel. She went on to have a series of breakthrough roles including Honey, Fantastic Four, and Valentine’s Day, before moving onto a new industry.

When Alba was 30, she co-founded The Honest Company, which hosts a series of consumer goods including her beauty brand Honest Beauty.

Alba met her now husband, American film producer Cash Warren, on the set of 2004 film Fantastic Four. Their enduring love story seems almost an anomaly in Hollywood these days, but they’ve been able to make it work.

Cash Warren is the second child of American actor Michael Warren. He is an American film producer and has worked on a number of films including Fantastic Four and Taxi.

He met Jessica Alba in Vancouver, Canada, on the set of Fantastic Four and the two quickly fell in love. They were together for four years before officially tying the knot in Beverly Hills in May 2004.

Alba was pregnant at the time with her first child Honor Marie, who was born in June 2008.

Explaining her marriage in 2012 a blog post with iVillage, Alba explained, “Making time for our relationship in our daily routine — even though it’s surprisingly predictable and may not seem as spicy as our spontaneous pre-kiddo days — [it] really helps keep the romance alive.”

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are still married, and have been for 15 years. However, the couple have opened up over the years that their relationship has at times been rocky and at one point, they split up.

Speaking on Jana Kramer’s Whine Down podcast, Cash explained that he needed to take a break from the relationship about four years in, telling himself that if they decided to get back together he would act differently.

You see, Cash at first had found it difficult to deal with all the attention his wife, who has been voted among America’s most ‘beautiful women’ lists multiple times, was getting.

“When we first started dating, I was really jealous of other guys and the attention that she was getting from other guys. It just wasn’t making me feel good,” he said.

“I was always a pretty confident person, walking my own path and really happy there. Next thing you know I’m looking up and just feeling jealous all the time. I was like, ‘I hate feeling like this. It doesn’t make me feel good. And I know it doesn’t make you feel good.’”

Cash self-described himself as an “A-hole” during this time in their early romance, but they turned the ship around.

“I think sometimes it’s over communication, sometimes it’s under communication,” Alba told Entertainment Tonight of their relationship. “Sometimes it’s, ‘I need my space I’ll talk to you.’ [Then] when I need [you], ‘I miss you, will you come back?’ [It’s about] always communicating how you feel.”

Despite their troubles, Cash and Jessica are parents to three beautiful children.

Honour Marie Warren was born first in 2008, just a month after the couple were married. Then they were blessed with another daughter, Haven Garner Warren in 2011. The pair finished their beautiful family with a son, Hayes Warren, born in 2017).

After having Haven, Alba uploaded a blog post about parenthood the second time around.

“I feel like most of my irrational, overprotective, and weary new mom behaviour evolved into a more easy-going, laid-back approach with my second child,” she shared. “I’ve never been a true ‘helicopter parent,’ but I’ve definitely stayed awake for endless hours doing research on everything I could do wrong.”

In April 2016, Cash uploaded a heart-felt post about his wife, writing, “I still get butterflies in my stomach around you. I still wake up in the middle of the night and smile because you’re next to me. I still laugh at your jokes.”

In 2019, Cash alluded to their quick wedding right before Honor’s birth.

“It wasn’t the dream wedding you deserved, in fact, it was laughably awkward. Standing under an arch of dusty plastic flowers in the courthouse chapel, we held hands and said I Do. No friends or family in attendance…just you, me and the courthouse employee who served as our witness. We walked out holding hands, giggling with excitement and a touch of nervousness. I remember opening the car door for you and as you climbed in, calling you Mrs Warren for the first time,” he wrote.

“11 years and 3 kids later, we’re still learning, growing, giggling and loving … here’s to a lifetime of pushing each other to be the best versions of ourselves and catching each other when we fall.”

Now 15 years into the relationship, with children aged 15, 12 and 5, it seems it’s all smiles in the Warren household.
