Lingerie model and all-round Hot Human Ashley Graham has had a Barbie doll created in her image. And when we say “in her image” we’re not kidding. The doll is a faithful representation of the 28 year old’s body including – wait for it – thighs that touch in the middle.

Ken is going to fall off his sun lounger in surprise.

The model was presented with the doll at the Glamour Women of The Year Awards in the US last night. She told Hollywood Reporter that she was thrilled with the mini-me, and played an important role in making sure Ashley Barbie’s measurements weren’t airbrushed in any way. “She had to have her thighs touch. No ands, ifs, or buts about it,” she said.

She even wanted the doll to have a sprinkling of thigh dimplage, though this was apparently scuppered by technical constraints. “I asked for cellulite but obviously plastic and cellulite don’t go hand in hand. It was important that the Barbie resembled me as much as possible. The thighs touching was one way to show young girls that it’s okay for your thighs to touch, despite society saying that a ‘thigh gap’ is more beautiful.”

The curvy stunner, who has appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated magazine, is a proponent of the Healthy At Every Size movement. She’s known for posting honest pictures of herself to her 2.7 million Instagram followers that showcase her gorgeous body – touching thighs, cellulite and all.

She recently posted a smoking pic taken from the back that made no secret of her the dimples on the backs of her thighs along with the mantra “My curves will make you say YAAAAS, QUEEN!”

Graham hopes her new plastic fantastic self will be an inspiration to young girls who may be unhappy with their bodies. “If I had a Barbie that looked like this growing up, who knows what I would’ve thought about my thighs,” she told Fashionista.

“I may not have hated them as much; I may not have thought they were so ugly. This is so important for younger generations of girls that are coming up — when they’re playing in the bathtub with their Barbie and she happens to have a rounder stomach, she’s going to feel like she’s just as beautiful because Barbie is the epitome of perfect.”

Yaaaaas, queen!
