Couple Mortified After Recognising London Mosque Terror Suspect

"Oh my god, what have we done?"

UPDATE: A couple are mortified after recognising the man who ran a white van into Muslim pedestraians outside of a North London mosque.

Speaking to Good Morning Britain, the pair expressed their horror that they may have told suspect Darren Osborne how to get to Finsbury Park, not knowing what he is alleged of planning, The Sun reports.

The couple, who remain anonymous, say Darren Osborne asked them for directions towards the mosque.

“He was really, really stressed. He was moving too much with his hands, was sweating.”

“When I heard this morning I was worrying, I was panicking saying ‘oh my god what have we done’, I’m blaming myself.”

“At the end of the day we only done what anyone else would have done — just showed him directions (SIC).”
