Baileys Just Launched Its New Red Velvet Flavour, And Consider Our Holiday Drinks Sorted

We're suddenly very parched

Every so often there are those moments on the daily Instagram scroll that leave you saying: I want that and I want it now. For me, that happened this week with the release of Baileys’ newest flavour, Red Velvet Cupcake.

Honestly, I don’t think I’ve stopped drooling since I first saw this magical creation pop up on my feed. Understandably, I needed to know more—is it available in Australia and how do I make the cocktail that looks, quite literally, like a freshly baked dessert?

An indulgent recipe with the flavour of light fluffy red velvet cupcake folded into Baileys Original Cream, creating a mouth-watering combination that fits right into our holiday cocktail lineup.

The new flavour can be enjoyed in a few ways, too, including poured over ice or in the brand’s cocktail creation, the Baileys Red Velvet Martini.

Enjoy over ice as an indulgent treat, or elevate your at-home cocktail game by creating the Baileys Red Velvet Martini, the liqueur’s signature serve:

The Red Velvet Martini

  • Add 50mls of Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake and 25mls of vodka into an ice-filled shaker.
  • Shake with ice and pour into a martini glass.
  • Top with whipped cream for added decadence.

You’ll only be able to shop the new flavour for a limited time in Australia, so we suggest getting in quick!
