It’s official, America’s Sweethearts: The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders is returning for a season three.
The news first came after a successful second season that followed the gruelling audition process to make the 2024 DCC squad under the guidance and watchful eye of director Kelli Finglass and choreographer Judy Trammell.
The season saw viewers hooked on the squad’s every jump kick as well as the departure of many beloved veterans and a much-deserved pay rise. There were scandals (Chandi’s unexplained departure from the team), tears and triumphs, more of which we expect to see in season three.
Will There Be A Season 3 Of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders?
Netflix has confirmed America’s Sweethearts will return for season three, announcing the news on August 19th in a joint instagram post with the DCC team.
In the clip we see Charly make a classic cheer roll call, “Who’s all here? Abby’s here, Ariel’s here and Kelly’s here. And you know who else is here?” she teases before turning the camera to reveal Netflix’s camera crew.
She then adds, confirming “Yep, season three is back!”
When Will Season 3 Of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Be Released?
Netflix has now confirmed that season three of DCC will be released on June 16th, 2026. The announcement came via a simple Instagram post with a few screenshots from the show.
It marks almost a year to the date since the premiere of season two hit our screens back on June 18th, 2025.
Who Will Be In Season 3 Of The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders?
Season three of the docuseries has already begun filming to capture the 2025-26 squad audition process and season. Because of the time it takes to film and edit together each season, fans of the DCC team know ahead of season three who made the team.
In fact, the 2025-26 DCC squad was confirmed and revealed back in July of this year.
In season three there are just six rookies joining the DCC ranks, with a total of 30 returning veterans taking up the remaining, coveted spots.
Among the rookies is Faith Ward, the first New Zealand DCC and fourth Aussie ever to join the team.
We won’t give too much away, but of our beloved veterans, obviously Charly makes a return as well as Abby, Ariel and Kelly.
