Laneway Festival Is Coming In Hot With A Stacked 2027 Lineup

Laneway Festival’s 2027 lineup has just been announced and safe to say we’re pretty excited. Australian music festivals have endured a somewhat tumultuous few years, with a number of beloved fixtures falling by the wayside in a post-COVID world (RIP Groovin’ the Moo, Splendour in the Grass and Falls Festival).

So, when one of the country’s few remaining festivals digs in its heels and unveils a stellar lineup such as this, the excitement is understandably palpable. Laneway will return in February 2027, with Fontaines D.C., Hayley Williams, Slayyyter, Adéla and Kim Petras among the acts set to descend upon stages across Australia and New Zealand.

The announcement arrives alongside the news that Sydney will serve as the opening stop, while Brisbane returns to the route (last year, Laneway’s QLD stopover was hosted on the Gold Coast). Adelaide and Perth, meanwhile, will sit out the 2027 festival as organisers pare back the touring schedule due to the demands of running so many shows in such a short window of time.

But Adelaide and Perth fans, fear not! Fontaines D.C. have already announced two exclusive Australian headline performances, taking over Perth’s RAC Arena on Tuesday, February 9, before heading to Adelaide’s AEC Arena on Wednesday, February 17, 2027. The dates will be Fontaines D.C.’s only standalone Australian performances outside of Laneway Festival.

Laneway Festival 2027 Lineup 

The Laneway 2027 lineup is stacked with global stars, local favourites and a crop of exciting fresh debuts. Headliners include Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams, who will bring The Hayley Williams Show to the festival for her first Australian festival appearances as a solo artist.

She’ll be joined by Grammy-nominated Irish band Fontaines D.C., breakout pop sensation Slayyyter and ADÉLA, whose inescapable hit “Nicole Kidman” has been infiltrating For You pages across the globe.

When Is Laneway Festival?

The 2027 festival will get underway at Sydney’s Centennial Park on Friday, February 12, before making its way to Brisbane Showgrounds the following day. From there, Laneway heads to Melbourne’s Flemington Park on Friday, February 19, before bringing the festival to a close across the Tasman at Auckland’s Western Springs on Sunday, February 21.

How To Secure Laneway Festival Tickets For 2027

As always, tickets will be in high demand. General on-sale tickets will be available on Thursday 8 October, 2026.

Is There A Pre-Sale For Laneway Festival 2027?

There sure is! The pre-sale also offers the cheapest tickets, so if you’re keen on heading to Laneway, it’s definitely worth signing up, which you can do here.

The pre-sale will start on Wednesday, October 7 and will run for 23 hours in each city (or until allocation is exhausted). Remaining tickets will then be available in the general on-sale. It’s worth noting that the pre-sale is the only opportunity to purchase 1st release tickets.

How Much Are Laneway Tickets 2027?

Tickets have gone up slightly, with a pre-sale ticket now fetching $239.90, while a General Admission 4th release will set you back $274.90. You can find more information on tickets, here.

Why Are Perth & Adelaide Not Hosting Laneway In 2027?

In an Instagram post, festival organisers explained the decision to omit Perth and Adelaide, saying the logistics of running multiple festivals across so many cities so close together puts significant logistical pressure on its artists and crew.

The break gives the organisers more time to focus on the festival itself and allows artists to schedule more headline shows in cities outside Laneway’s festival locations.
