We’re going back to the chapel!

Married at First Sight returns to Channel 9 and 9Now on Monday, February 2 at 7.30pm, ushering in its 13th season and reactivating Australia’s most reliable cultural lightning rod.

More than a ratings juggernaut, MAFS has become an annual ritual in Australian culture. Each year, a new cohort of hopeful singles agrees to marry a complete stranger, buoyed by the belief that psychology, compatibility testing and expert guidance might succeed where modern dating continues to fail.

Season 13 arrives with familiar stakes and heightened volatility. From nerve-wracking first encounters at the altar to the franchise’s signature dinner parties and emotionally charged commitment ceremonies, the experiment once again unfolds under relentless scrutiny.

Some couples experience instant chemistry. Others, more predictably, collide with misalignment, mistrust and the slow erosion of expectation.

This year introduces a revamped ‘Revelations Week’, engineered to surface hidden truths, alongside the return of Final Test Week, a decisive twist that could determine which relationships stand a chance beyond the experiment.

Presiding over the chaos are returning experts Alessandra Rampolla, John Aiken and Mel Schilling, tasked once again with navigating intimacy, conflict and compatibility in real time.

Before the weddings begin, however, the 18 hopeful singles have been revealed and the lineup is, as ever, a mixed bag.

Get to know the 2026 Married At First Sight contestants below.

MAFS 2026 cast Alissa

Alissa, 33, Nurse / Social Media Manager

South Australia

Fresh from the end of a six-year relationship, Alissa is navigating the unfamiliar terrain of modern dating with honesty and resolve. Direct by nature and emotionally open, she is seeking a partner who values ambition, communication and trust — and who’s ready to build a future together.

MAFS 2026 cast Bec

Bec, 35, Account Manager

South Australia

Bec describes herself as a “pedigree mutt”, born to a Greek father and English mother, and brings an unmistakably bold presence to the experiment.

Outspoken, social and rarely far from the spotlight, she’s twice been voted Adelaide’s most eligible bachelorette. After calling off an engagement just months before the wedding, Bec emerged from a year of personal transformation clearer about what she wants. Affectionate and expressive, she’s hoping MAFS delivers a partner with warmth, wit and real chemistry — ideally with tattoos and a beard.

MAFS 2026 cast brooke

Brooke, 27, Model

Queensland

Brook is a QLD-based model with an unapologetic love of fashion and a sharp eye for style, including when it comes to her future partner.

After a history of betrayal in past relationships, she approaches love with caution and self-awareness. Now, she’s placing her faith in the experiment, searching for a trustworthy, loyal man who can make her laugh and is genuinely ready to build a future.

MAFS 2026 cast Gia

Gia, 35, Disability Support Worker

Victoria

Gia turns heads wherever she goes, though rarely for the reasons she’d prefer. Often misjudged for her blonde hair, tattoos and unapologetic style, she knows there’s far more beneath the surface. Previously married and now a mother, she’s spent little time dating since her divorce, wary of repeating old patterns.

While her former type skewed flashy, her priorities have evolved. Gia is done with surface charm and chasing potential — she’s looking for emotional intelligence, real commitment and a partner who shows up fully.

MAFS 2026 cast Julia

Julia, 35, Confidence and Charisma Consultant

Victoria

Julia is a spiritual realist with a polished edge, instantly recognisable by her bright wardrobe and permanent smile. A former London-based entertainment correspondent, she now works as a communication and confidence specialist.

Bisexual and open-minded, she’s dated widely but rarely found the full package. Julia is searching for emotional maturity, sharp wit and someone self-aware enough to keep evolving.

MAFS cast 2026 Mel

Mel, 28, Public Servant

New South Wales

After growing up in Canberra, Mel relocated to Sydney in search of bigger horizons and better dating odds. Single for six years, she’s had plenty of fun but is ready for something more lasting. Self-aware, funny and unapologetically picky, Mel believes she’s a catch, and is hoping the experiment delivers commitment, chemistry and a future that finally feels aligned.

MAFS 2026 cast Rachel

Rachel, 35, Team Leader

Victoria

Rachel brings warmth, humour and a quietly resilient optimism to the experiment. After years of undefined relationships that never quite became official, she’s ready for something real.

Big-hearted and outspoken, she values honesty and effort. Rachel is searching for a partner who communicates openly, shows up consistently and shares her hope for long-term love, stability and, one day, a family.

MAFS 2026 cast Rebecca

Rebecca, 51, Leasing Manager

Victoria

Rebecca is a sharp, self-aware fashion lover with a taste for the finer things and a dry sense of humour to match. Recently navigating life as an empty-nester, she’s ready to prioritise romance again.

With high standards and little patience for dating-app theatrics, Rebecca is searching for an equal, ideally confident, stylish and able to bring fun to an already full life.

MAFS 2026 cast stella

Stella, 32, Beauty Technician

New South Wales

Stella moved to Australia from Lithuania nine years ago alone, determined to build a life from the ground up. Independent by necessity, she’s deeply emotional beneath her direct exterior.

Passion is non-negotiable for her, as is tradition. Now ready to share the load, Stella is searching for a grounded partner who leads with stability, values family and is serious about building a future together.

MAFS 2026 cast Chris

Chris, 31, Construction Supervisor

Victoria

Once a tradie and now his own boss, Chris is forthright, opinionated and unapologetically confident. A devoted AFL fan, he claims his party days are behind him, though compromise hasn’t always come easily. Self-described as honest to a fault, Chris enters the experiment cautiously optimistic, hoping the right match might soften his edges, and prove him wrong.

MAFS 2026 Cast Danny

Danny, 34, Real Estate and Businessman

Victoria

Originally from the UK, Danny moved to Australia in his twenties and quickly made it home. A former tradie turned finance professional, he pairs tattoos and bravado with unexpected softness.

Reformed from his past dating missteps, Danny values loyalty above all else. He’s searching for a strong, spirited partner who challenges him, makes him laugh and matches his intensity.

MAFS 2026 Cast David

David, 31, E-Commerce Product Manager

Queensland

David describes himself as a hustler, juggling a full-time e-commerce role alongside an ambitious collection of side projects. Nigerian-born and raised in Australia from age 12, he was brought up in a faith-led household that still shapes his outlook.

Despite frequent DM attention and a former life as a rapper, David insists he’s not a playboy. He’s hoping the experiment delivers commitment, compatibility and a relationship that finally lasts longer than a year.

MAFS 2026 Cast Filip

Filip, 37, Carpenter

Victoria

Filip runs his life by routine: early alarms, gym sessions and a three-minute cold shower, all before most people have woken up. Croatian-born and family-oriented, he prides himself on discipline and self-improvement.

Convinced he’s done the work, Filip believes the only thing missing is a wife and children. Traditional in his outlook and unapologetically particular, he’s entering the experiment hoping structure, certainty and the experts deliver his ideal match.

MAFS 2026 Cast Grayson

Grayson, 34, Company Director

Queensland

Grayson likes to describe himself as a deep thinker, shaped by equal parts self-reflection and reinvention. Once destined for an AFL career before injury intervened, he later detoured through a party-boy phase he now frames as character development.

Now running a recruitment agency and firmly family-oriented, Grayson believes he’s matured and is hoping the experts can replicate his best mate Johnny’s MAFS success story with Kerry in season eight.

MAFS 2026 Cast Luke

Luke, 30, Farmer

Victoria

Luke is an unlikely farmer who stepped into responsibility after inheriting his late father’s cattle property.

Now splitting his time between city life and the land, he’s found peace in both but feels caught between worlds. After a serious relationship ended shortly following his father’s death, commitment hasn’t come easily. Optimistic and open-hearted, Luke enters the experiment hoping to move forward and finally find lasting love.

MAFS 2026 Cast Scott

Scott, 33, Business Owner

Queensland

Scott lives life in the fast lane, juggling multiple businesses with an unwavering focus on ambition and success. A self-confessed workaholic, his days are meticulously structured, often leaving little room for romance.

Frequently misjudged for his confidence and bravado, Scott insists there’s more depth beneath the surface. Now, he’s hoping the experiment can introduce a partner who complements his drive — and makes space for something beyond work.

MAFS 2026 cast steve

Steve, 50, Creative Director

Victoria

Steve is a silver fox with four daughters and a career built flipping pubs and hospitality venues. A lover of good food, strong drinks and better company, he thrives in lively rooms.

Previously married, Steve is seeking lasting companionship in this next chapter. Self-aware about past missteps, he’s confident, cultured and ready for a partner who enjoys life’s simple luxuries alongside him.

MAFS 2026 cast Steven

Steven, 34, Marine Technician

New South Wales

Steven is a self-professed goofball with a love of adventure and a healthy disregard for taking himself too seriously. After spending his twenties chasing rock-star dreams in a heavy metal band, he now runs his own boat-repair business. With most of his friends settled down, he’s feeling left behind. Steven is hoping the experiment delivers a partner who values humour, ambition and authenticity.
