Awards season enters its penultimate act on Sunday night (Monday down here in Australia) as the 32nd Annual SAG Awards, newly rechristened the Actor Awards, take centre stage just two weeks ahead of the Oscars.
Voted on by SAG-AFTRA members, the ceremony has long been considered one of the industry’s most telling barometers, a room filled with peers deciding who truly moved the needle on screen this year.
Broadcast live on Netflix from Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall, the evening sees Kristen Bell return as host, bringing a dose of levity to an increasingly tight race.
In film, Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another dominates with a record-breaking seven nominations, spanning cast ensemble and acting nods for Leonardo DiCaprio, Chase Infiniti, Benicio Del Toro, Sean Penn and Teyana Taylor. Ryan Coogler’s Sinners follows closely behind, setting up a heavyweight ensemble showdown with Frankenstein, Hamnet and Marty Supreme.
On television, Apple’s The Studio leads the comedy field, while dramas including The Pitt and Severance vie for momentum.
With a star-studded red carpet setting the tone, anticipation is building for tonight’s big wins. Follow along for every winner from the 2026 Actor Awards.
